3 Steamy Books with BD/SM Themes

You have a guilty pleasure, so what?

You read Fifty Shades of Grey and you've liked it. You're not alone. I don't judge you.

A brilliant man. An innocent but beautiful woman. Deepest and darkest desires. Obsession. Affairs. Secrets. A bit of spanking and a touch of BDSM. And a tag that says "This book is intended for mature audience."

What's not to like? Let's get to the list.

1. FIFTY SHADES TRILOGY, BY E.L. JAMES

These books obviously have their issues, but currently they're selling like ice cubes in hell. Some people swear by them, others are simply throwing obscenities at them. I think, at some point these books will achieve the kind of fame Twilight books managed to get. If that is turn-off or not, that is up to you.

The series narrates the relationship of a college graduate and a very succesfull businessman. It has familiar themes of dominance and submission throughout the books. And plenty of sex.

If you like your romance books steamy, these books will hit your spot.

2. WICKED TIES, BY SHAYLA BLACK:

In short: Morgan O'malley, a sex talk show host, turns to Jack for help against her stalker. Unknown to her, Jack is a BD/SM master and he has a few dark motives.

Wicked Ties is the first book in a series currently containing 7 books.

3. BARED TO YOU, BY SLYVIA DAY:

"When it comes to brewing up scorchingly hot sexual chemistry, Day has few literary rivals." Booklist says about this book.

It's the first book of the Crossfire series. It has a few similarites to the Fifty Shades of Grey; powerful male character who is obsessive, a tortured soul of sorts. And obviously hot sex scenes.

But it doesn't mean it's the same story with different character names.

Slyvia Day is a talented writer who can write intense and powerful scenes. Once again for romance books on the other edge of the scale, this is a must-read.

A brief edit: There is a huge chance that if you're interested the listed book, you're somewhat familiar with the genre and themes. Are there any books you think should be in this list. I wouldn't mind suggestions for a further post.
